12. Uploading to our FTP site:

  1. You will need a special "FTP client" program that you must download and install.
(There are some instructions for the installation and configuration of some of the programs at the top of this page)
  2. FTP clients for Windows:  Total Commander, FileZilla
  3. FTP client for Macintosh: MacOS9:Fetch, Cyberduck OneButtonFTP
  4. Our host name is ftp.bmail.gr for user name and password fill this form (if you haven't already).
  5. Please upload compressed files (with Stuffit when working with Macintosh or with zip, 7zip, rar when working on a PC)
  6. Don't forget to notify the suitable person when your files have been uploaded.
  7. Do not use Internet Explorer to upload your files in FTP servers it has compatibility problems. Also Firefox and Safari (MacOS X) do not support FTP without special extensions.
Using FTP through a web browser doesn't give you the option to resume a broken upload, so in case of disconnection you must upload the whole file again. We advise you to get a real FTP client like those listed below.
The syntax of our address in Internet Explorer is: ftp://user: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or ftp://user: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
